Who are we?
| We are Rik, Carlijn, Silke, Sven Sieben and our cat Lux. An impulsive and spontaneous family from Haarlem (Holland). We are always in for fun and adventure. In our lives we have always chosen for caring professions in the broadest sense. Rik served in the airborne brigade, worked in youth welfare, had an exciting adventure at sea as security against piracy and ended his career in NL as Supervisor Security Eurostar at the NS. Carlijn went to study at the ALO in Amsterdam. Then worked several seasons in Maria Alm as a snowboard instructor. For years she combined this with a job at the Bison Bowling Haarlem. After 5 winter seasons in the snow, she was able to make some great steps at the Bison Bowling as a manager. Eventually she made the switch to education where she worked for 12 years as a teacher of physical education at the Beatrixschool in Haarlem. Despite the security in the Netherlands and a nice life with family and friends, some more peace and freedom itched in our lives. We have therefore decided to exchange the lovely Haarlem for the beautiful mountain landscape in Austria. |  |

 | About the houseThis house is our private residence. An old farmhouse, where the first stone was laid in 1652. Zum Schneider is therefore "alive". The house is located on the main street (Tuxestraße). We have 5 rooms upstairs that we rent out as B&B. This ensures that the atmosphere is homely, cozy and small-scale. Do you have certain wishes, please contact us, because we like to think in possibilities. |
Activities in the areaThere are many different activities to experience in Finkenberg. This applies to both summer and winter. Think hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing and visiting Christmas markets. For you and your children there is much to experience.
